Aluminium alloy 2017 is an alloy having excellent fatigue strength and great machining qualities. It is suitable for welding and used for manufacturing various applications. These round barss are made available to customers in varied shapes and sizes as per the demand and requirement of customers. Moreover, because of its high corrosion resistance, these barss are available in different alloys offering an extensive range of corrosion resistance, weldability, and machinability.
Aluminium 2017 alloy is a heat treatable wrought alloy with intermediate strength. It is stronger than aluminium 2011, but harder to the machine, workability is fair with ductility and formability better than aluminium 2014. Arc and resistance weldability of this alloy are satisfactory while corrosion resistance is fair. 2017 had been used as aerospace components, rivets, general structural components, transportation, fasteners, screw machine prodsucts, gauges, pulleys and needles for knitting.
