5454 aluminum is a 5000-series aluminum alloy: the main alloying addition is magnesium, and it is formulated for primary forming into wrought prodsucts. Aluminum alloys contain strong corrosion resistance. These alloys are good low-temperature alloys aluminum alloys are sensitive to high temperatures ranging between 200 and 250°C (392 and 482°F). It is closely related to 5154 aluminum alloy. As an aluminum-magnesium alloy, it combines moderate-to-high strength with excellent weldability.
