1.Prodsuct Description
5083 Marine Grade Aluminum tube
Aluminum 5083 is known for its exceptional performance in extreme environments. Aluminum 5083 is highly resistant to attack by both seawater and industrial chemical environments.
Aluminum 5083 also retains exceptional strength after welding. It has the highest strength of the non-heat-treatable alloys but is not recommended for use in temperatures in excess of 65°C.

4.Prodsuct Features
5083 aluminum alloy is the highest strength of all non-treatable aluminum alloys and offers exceptional performance in extreme environments. The material is highly resistant to both seawater and industrial chemical attack, though it is not recommended for use in applications that exceed 65° C.
5.Prodsuct Application
Alloy 5083 is commonly used in:
Shipbuilding
Railroad cars
Drilling rigs
Coachwork
Pressure vessels
Aluminum armor
Uses requiring a weldable moderate-strength alloy having good corrosion resistance are commonly utilizing alloy 5083.
